   NEW FEATURES IN THIS RELEASE
   ============================

   Windows NT 3.51 Support
   -----------------------
Carbon Copy 32 for Windows is fully compatible with Microsoft's
Windows NT 3.51 operating system. Since Windows NT 3.51 does
not support TAPI, you can only establish connections between
networked computers using TCP/IP. Alternatively, you may
run Carbon Copy 32 over a dial-up networking connection using a
third-party dial-up networking client runs on Window NT 3.51 and
   supports TCP/IP.

   Windows NT 4.0 Support
   ----------------------
Carbon Copy 32 for Windows is fully compatible with Microsoft's
   Windows NT 4.0 operating system.

   Windows 95 Support
   ------------------
Carbon Copy 32 for Windows is fully compatible with Microsoft's
Windows 95 operating system. Carbon Copy 32 supports	cross-
connections between Windows 95, Windows NT 3.51 and Windows NT 4.0.

   Multiple Connections
   --------------------
Carbon Copy 32 for Windows can now operate over multiple,
simultaneous connections. For example you may establish a
remote control session with one remote computer while you
are transferring files to another. Another scenario of
interest is having multiple professionals viewing your
   machine for training or troubleshooting.

   Remote Control
   --------------
Remote Control has been enhanced to support multiple remote control
sessions, to be backwards compatible with the Carbon Copy family of
products, and to provide innovative features such as Disable Host
Wallpaper, Ignore Large Bitmaps, and Disable Host Screen
Saver which will greatly improve the performance and usability of
   your remote control sessions.

   File Transfer
   -------------
Carbon Copy 32 File Transfer has been enhanced to support multiple
file transfer sessions, to allow or restrict access on a directory
basis, to be backward compatible with the Carbon Copy family of
products, and has the look and easy to use feel of Microsoft's
Explorer. File Transfer allows you to easily send and receive files
and/or directories of files by simply dragging and dropping them from
one computer to another. File Transfer offers time saving features
such as File Synchronization, Crash Recovery, Copy Newer Files Only,
   and Copy Existing Files Only.

   Security
   --------
Carbon Copy 32 supports many security features such as Security
Passwords, Access Restrictions on user profiles and the phone
book, and the option to Load Carbon Copy Before the Windows Login
Prompt. This feature allows you to dial into your office computer
and login while in remote control.

   Uninstall Program
   -----------------
Uninstall will completely remove Carbon Copy 32 files from your
computer and remove Carbon Copy 32 components from your registry.

Load Carbon Copy before Windows Login Prompt
   --------------------------------------------
Use the "Load Carbon Copy before Windows Login Prompt" feature to
start Carbon Copy 32 running on Windows 95 or Windows NT prior to
the Network login prompt. This feature is useful in conjunction
with the "Wait for Call on Startup", "Reboot On Disconnect", and
"Logoff On Disconnect" features. This allows you to connect to a
remote computer and login using remote control.

   BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY
   ======================

Carbon Copy 32 is fully backward compatible with Carbon Copy for
Windows release 3.0 and later and Carbon Copy for DOS release 7.0a.

   CARBON COPY TERMINAL
   ====================

Carbon Copy Terminal fully supports baud rates up to 115200.
To use Carbon Copy Terminal at a baud rate of 115200, an enhanced
serial port card with a 16550 UART and a communications driver
that supports 115200 must be installed. Note that Windows 95 does
   support 115,200 bps.

   =========================================

Running Setup with Limited Disk Space
      -------------------------------------
Setup requires a minimum of 8Mb of disk space plus 2Mb
of temporary workspace to install the complete Carbon Copy 32
for Windows product. If your disk space is limited to less
than this amount, and you have a previously installed version
of Carbon Copy for Windows on your hard disk, you may want
to delete it so you have enough space to reinstall the product.

      Adobe Type Manager
      ------------------
Adobe Type Manager (ATM) modifies (patches) Windows in ways
which are not compatible with Carbon Copy 32 for Windows. If
you wish to use Carbon Copy on a system with ATM installed, you
      must disable ATM.

   KNOWN ISSUES
   ============

A list of known issues is enclosed with your Beta documentation.
Before submitting a bug report please verify that your issue is
not on the list of known issues.

   BETA 2 ISSUES
   ==============

Internet Explorer 3.0 Beta 2 incompatibility
        ---------------------------------------------
If you are using the Beta 2 version of Microsoft Internet
Explorer 3.0, some buttons on the Carbon Copy toolbar will
not redraw correctly, and will appear to be blank.
To correct this, upgrade to the final release
        version of Internet Explorer 3.0.

        Disable Host Video
        -------------------
You may experience problems on Windows 95 PCs when you have
selected the Disable Host Video option in Remote Control.
Disable Host Video is not compatible with all Windows 95
        video cards.

Disable Host Video will work correctly on a Windows NT
Carbon Copy Host if the video driver on the Host PC
        is configured for 256 colors.

        Full Screen DOS Remote Control
        -------------------------------
Full screen DOS boxes are not currently supported
on a Windows NT Host during Remote Control.

Backwards Compatibility with Previous Versions of Carbon Copy
        -------------------------------------------------------------
Connections from Carbon Copy 32 to Carbon Copy 3.0 over
IPX or NetBIOS are not currently supported. However, you
can make connections between Carbon Copy 32 and
Carbon Copy 3.0 using TCP/IP or TAPI.

        Using TAPI Devices with Callback
        ----------------------------------------------------
If you are making a connection to a Carbon Copy user
who will be using the Callback feature to return
your call, make sure your PC is not currently set
        to Wait for Calls.

        Windows NT 4.0
        ---------------
If you have selected the Load Before Windows Login
Prompt, Carbon Copy may not be able to answer an
incoming call made by a TAPI device. To answer an
incoming call from a TAPI device, deselect Load
        Before Windows Login Prompt.

        Browse on Dial-up Networks
        --------------------------
You may not be able to Browse for workstations
when connected using a dial-up network, such as a
Windows NT Remote Access Server. This is because
these types of networks do not forward broadcast packets.
To successfully connect to these workstations, you
must know the workstation name or address of the
machine to which you want to connect.

Disable Keyboard and Mouse Option on Windows NT
        -------------------------------------------------
When you select the Disable Keyboard and Mouse option
on the Security Options dialog box, the keyboard will
not be disabled under Windows NT. However, the mouse will
        be disabled.
